Palasdari

Palasdari is almost 120Kms away from Mumbai by train towards Pune.

This picnic was arranged by my brother's friends in the colony. We were total 9 of us going there. All from different careers from engineering, commerce to swimming champs. This was a very quick picnic. The enjoyment was good though.

We left home on saturday night and reached Karjat, the nearest Major railway station. We had reached Karjat by the last train of the day from Mumbai. It took us there at about 2am. The weekend was quite hectic, so some of us opted to have a nap on the station. Others did some 'kidas' to keep the spirit of picnic awake. At about 5am, we started walking towards Palasdari on the railroad. We had to be careful since we had only two torches and lights were low. Any moment a train could come and smash us if we were not standing aside. The fear increased the excitement.

At Palasdari, you can see a little dam. Just ahead was the final destination for us. It was a small waterfall. We had a lot of fun in the falls. It was really cool and teeth-chattering. After having enough watersports, we left for home.
