A Centralized Billing System for a chain of Cyber Cafes (Dishnet DSL Hub Center).
ˇ Windows Client/Server Application. ˇ Server console keeps track of all clients and their status. ˇ The client application allows one to use the PC only after valid authentication. ˇ The request from all clients are routed to the server present in the Café which in turn updates the centralized server located remotely at any part of the country. |

| Responsibilities |
ˇ Develop a centralize Server in VB which displays all its clients status in a single console.
ˇ Develop client in VB, which will protect hub center machines from using it. User has to enter a valid user name and password. Client will be sending this packet to Hub Center server, which accordingly send it to a centralized Portal Infranet billing system located somewhere (centralized in country) and authenticate & bill accordingly. ˇ If client gets authenticated properly, then unlock the client and allow user to use the machine (surfing, gaming, etc). ˇ Client & server uses TCP/IP protocol to communicates with each other. Server uses PCMCOM APIs to communicate with centralized Portal Infranet Server. |
