| Scope |
Comprehensive Convergent Billing System (VoD, AoD, VoIP, Video Phone, Video chatting, E-Learning) that manages the entire chain of key business activities of eSTEL Devices.
· The main billing engine consists of CM(Connection Manager), PM(Process Manager), a very high performance multithreaded, multi-platform servers. CM job is to accept a large no. of requests, put it in a queue(if required), send to PM to process, wait for the result, send back the result to the respective client. Both the servers has been developed using ACE library, and OTL has been used to communicate with Oracle DB. Both servers are compilable in both windows and Linux platform(also extendible to sun Solaris). · Device is heaving a device-id, and smart card id of smart card is used to identify individual users. · Define Bouquets/plans @services using BRM(Business Rule Manager) · Rating (Rate session/events) & Billing. · SMS(Subscriber Management System), to register, renew subscriber, view events. · Financial management and · Reports |
